Day 1 Arrival in Metz
Explore the fortress town of Metz, which once lay at the heart of the Franconian Empire and was the ancestral home of the Carolingians. Embarkation from 2 p.m.

Day 2 Thionville - Remich, 41-49 km/26-31 mi
Today, you’ll cycle through the Lorraine and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The border village of Schengen gave the European agreement its name.

Day 3 Remich - Saarburg, 40-48 km/25-30 mi
In Luxembourg you can sample the excellent Moselle sparkling wines (Cremants), before cycling along the Moselle and Saar to the romantic town of Saarburg.

Day 4 Saarburg - Trier, approx. 32 km/20 mi
Just a little cycling, then there is plenty of time to explore the imperial Roman city of Trier. The Porta Nigra and Imperial Baths are the most famous, but by far the only sights.

Day 5 Schweig - Bernkastel-Kues, 27-53 km/17-34 mi + boat trip
You’ll leave Trier by boat. Piesport and Neumagen are famous wine towns you’ll encounter along your route today.

Day 6 Bernkastel-Kues - Zell, approx. 45 km/28 mi
Traben-Trarbach is characterized by Art Nouveau design, while Zell is the second largest wine town on the Moselle with excellent Riesling wines.

Day 7 Zell - Cochem, approx. 39 km/24 mi
The town of Beilstein is charming, while Cochem offers remarkable town houses from across many centuries below the famous Imperial Castle.

Day 8 Disembarkation and depature

However, please note that your bike will be loaded on and off the boat twice a day along with several others and therefore slight cosmetic damage to individual bikes cannot be ruled out, which is why we do not take responsibility or liability for such damage.
