Cycling vacation Moselle - Rhine - Lahn

Need a little time out? You'll find it here at the mouths of the Moselle and Lahn into the Rhine. Two hotels are the starting points of your bike tours to the Moselle town of Cochem, the Rhine town of Boppard and the important spa town of Bad Ems on the Lahn river, UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as the entire Rhine Valley between Koblenz and Rüdesheim. This relaxed cycling vacation on the Moselle, Rhine and Lahn is also ideal for the inexperienced.

Day 1 Arrival in Treis-Karden
Easily accessible by car and train, the double town on both sides of the Moselle is characterized by castles and churches.

Day 2 Excursion to Cochem, approx. 25 km/16 mi
Upstream on the Moselle you will go to Cochem with its charming old town and the famous Reichsburg castle. In the evening a wine tasting awaits you.

Day 3 Treis-Karden - Koblenz, approx. 40 km/25 mi
Today you cycle along the Moselle to Koblenz. From the Ringelsteiner Mühle, you will take a hike to Eltz Castle.

Day 4 Excursion to Bad Ems, approx. 40 km/25 mi
The Lahn cycle path takes you to the emperor's spa Bad Ems. Back in Koblenz you take the cable car to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and enjoy the panoramic view.

Day 5 Excursion to Boppard, 20 km / 12 mi + boat trip
Well preserved castles guide you along the Rhine to Boppard. Return with a romantic boat trip, out of season again by bike.

Day 6 Departure
After breakfast, your cycling vacation along the Moselle, Rhine and Lahn rivers unfortunately comes to an end.

The booking process

• Parking in Treis-Karden:
  Public and hotel parking, cost free up to about 10 €/day, no reservation possible, details in the travel documents.

• Arrival by train:
  Treis-Karden train station

• Arrival at Frankfurt am Main airport:
  Very good train connection, duration approx. 2 hours, 1-2 x change, price per person: approx. 40 €

Return transfer:
