On the cycle tour "Rhine & Moselle by Boat & Bike", follow the winding course of the river through small wine villages and well-known towns, with defiant castles, impressive collegiate churches and imposing fortresses rising up to the left and right. Taste the much-praised wines directly from the winegrowers and be amazed by the scenic beauty before arriving in the vibrant university city of Koblenz.

Day 1 Arrival in Coblenz
Embarkation at 2 pm, followed by a boat trip to St. Goar in the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley.

Day 2 St. Goar - Rüdesheim, ca. 30 km / 19 mi 
Castles are not only found on the heights, but also on and in the Rhine. Hopefully you will pass the rock of the beguilingly alluring Loreley unscathed.

Day 3 Rüdesheim - Mainz, 35 - 43 km / 22-27 mi
Well-known and lesser-known wineries are on the way to Mainz, the capital of printing and the state capital. Visit the blue stained glass windows by Chagall in St Stephen's or the fascinating Gutenberg Museum

Day 4 St. Lehmen - Treis-Kadern, approx. 30 km / 19 mi
In the morning, the boat will take you across the Deutsches Eck to the Moselle. Then you cycle to the famous hilltop castle of Eltz from the 12th century, which has never been destroyed and has been magnificently preserved.

Day 5 Beilstein - Traben-Trarbach, approx. 49 km / 30 mi
During breakfast, the boat sails to the Baroque pilgrimage town of Beilstein. Before the cycle tour, you can take a look at the Black Madonna, then continue along the river to Traben-Trarbach, which is characterised by Art Nouveau and was once the second largest wine trading centre in Europe.

Day 6 Bernkastel-Kues, approx. 44 km / 27 mi, Traben-Trarbach - Cochem, 46-53 km / 29-33 mi
Explore Traben-Trarbach on foot or take a bike trip to Bernkastel-Kues, which is famous as a film set. In the afternoon, you can cycle down the Moselle to Cochem with its famous Reichsburg castle or enjoy the scenery from a boat.

Day 7 Winningen - Coblenz, approx. 10 km / 6 mi
There is a short boat trip in the morning, followed by a short cycle tour to Koblenz. In the afternoon and evening there is plenty of time to explore the city with its 13 museums, 3 castles and the Ehrenbreitstein fortress. Why not enjoy the evening in the wine village of Coblenz.

Day 8 Departure 
After breakfast your tour "Rhine & Moselle by Boat & Bike" unfortunately comes to an end. Disembarkation at 9.30 a.m.

Rental bicycles:

• If you choose to wear a helmet, we recommend using your own due to the variety of head sizes and shapes and for hygienic reasons.

The booking process

Arrival to "Rhine & Moselle by Boat & Bike":

• Arrival by car
  - Public car parks in the city centre Altstadt/Görresplatz or Obere Löhr, costs approx. 20 €/day
  - Free parking in Park & Ride car parks outside, by bus to the ship

• Arrival by train:
  Koblenz Main station

• Arrival by plane:
  Airport Frankfurt, every half hour, duration approx. 2 hours, 1x change, normal price approx. 35 €

• On the day of arrival, you can leave your luggage on board the ship from 11.00 am.

Personal bikes:
In principle, you can bring your own bike along. However, please note that your bike will be loaded on and off the boat twice a day along with several others and therefore slight cosmetic damage to individual bikes cannot be ruled out, which is why we do not take responsibility or liability for such damage. We recommend reserving one of the excellent rental bikes we offer.

Perfectly looked after:
During your tour, we are available between 8 am and 8 pm, 7 days a week. We are happy to help with any kind of problems you might be having. You will find this emergency number in your travel documents.
