This Moselle tour from Cochem zo Metz takes you through Germany, Luxembourg and France. Day 1 Arrival in Cochem
Embarkation from 2 pm. You can thenexplore the town and visit the famous Imperial Castle.
Day 2 Cochem - Zell, approx. 39 km/24 mi
Famous vineyard sites are situated on several of the Moselle’s sinuosities, along which the small town of Beilstein charmingly presents itself.
Day 3 Zell - Bernkastel-Kues, 45 km/28 mi + boat trip
The Art Nouveau town of Traben-Trarbach is located on the Middle Moselle. The medieval Bernkastel is a well-known film set.
Day 4 Bernkastel-Kues - Schweich, 28-54 km/17-34 mi
The famous wine towns on today’s itinerary are Piesport and Neumagen. You will reach the ancient imperial city of Trier on a romantic boat trip.
Day 5 Trier - Saarburg, approx. 28 km/17 mi
In the morning you’ll visit the Roman buildings of the city, before cycling along the Saar to the picturesque town of Saarburg.
Day 6 Saarburg - Remich, 45-53 km/28-33 mi
Today belongs to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, where you can sample the excellent Moselle sparkling wines (Cremants).
Day 7 Schengen - Thionville, 30 km/19 mi + boat trip
Today you’ll cycle in the Lorraine region, before taking the ship to the fortress of Metz, a Roman city and the seat of the Carolingian emperors.
Day 8 Disembarkation and depature
After breakfast, your Moselle tour from Cochem to Metz concludes. Disembarkation until 9:30 am.
