Day 1 Arrival in Trier
The Roman monuments of Augusta Treverorum are a UNESCO World Heritage Site: Porta Nigra, amphitheatre and the Roman bridge, across which cars are still allowed to drive.

Day 2 Trier - Mülheim, approx. 60 km/37 mi
Follow the bends of the Moselle through vineyards and villages. Neumagen-Drohn is the oldest wine town in Germany.

Day 3 Mülheim - Traben-Trarbach, approx. 30 km/19 mi
Try the famous Bernkastler Doctor Riesling and stroll through the historic town centre of Bernkastel-Kues with its many colourful half-timbered houses.

Day 4 Traben-Trarbach - Cochem, 55-65 km/34-40 mi
Today, you’ll once again cycle below famous vineyards. The half-timbered houses in Enkirch, Beilstein and Metternich Castle are worth seeing. A stop in Cochem with the Imperial Castle and the Enderttor Gate, perfectly rounds off the day.

Day 5 Cochem - Koblenz, 40-50 km /25-31 mi
Take the chairlift to the Pinnerkreuz and take in the magnificent view before cycling to the university town of Koblenz. The Old Castle, the Electoral Palace and the cultural centre Forum Confluentes with the Mittelrhein Museum await you. The Ehrenbreitstein Fortress offers a great view of the city and the Deutsches Eck (German Corner), a headland where the Moselle joind the Rhine.

Day 6 Excursion to St. Goarshausen, 40 km/25 mi+boat trip
Today you’ll follow the Rhine and board a boat to take you to St. Goarshausen and the Lorelei rock. You’ll cycle back to Koblenz via Boppard with its Roman fort, beautiful Rhine promenade and the medieval town of Rhens.

Day 7 Departure or extension
Your tour ends after breakfast, but why not extend your comfort tour on the Moselle Cycle Path.

  • Arrival by train to Trier:

    Distance to Trier approx. 200 km, excellent train connections, journey takes approx. 3,5 hours, 1-2 changes
    Train ticket price per person: approx. 55 €

  • Booked rental bikes are waiting for you at the hotel.

Return transfer:
